Rotech is a supplier of home respiratory equipment and durable medical equipment to patients. We’re a national supplier with over 325 locations across the US. Our leadership team identified the need and the importance of our company staying competitive by going paperless. Going paperless helps improve efficiencies, gets information back to our systems timely, and enables us to service our patients more effectively. It also helps put controls in place, which can be challenging to do manually. Workflows are being enabled, and this technological shift has transformed our company, becoming a culture change embraced by our entire organization. One of the challenges we face is having a mobile device platform that is compatible and works well with our homegrown systems, as the applications we provide for our operations need to sit well on that mobile device and be secure due to dealing with patient health information, which is of utmost importance to us. MetTel is helping us provide over 700 tablets to our drivers and over 300 smartphones to our sales reps. With the MetTel solution, we have become more agile in delivering quality services through tablets for our drivers, enabling secure applications and making their jobs easier. Additionally, our forward-thinking approach of going fully paperless, with all patients signing their paperwork via tablets, feeding back into our homegrown enterprise system, has helped reduce errors, improve our claims and collections, and enhance the efficiency of our drivers. Metel’s secure technology, along with their exceptional support team, has made a significant impact. We have a one-stop shop with Metel, allowing us to focus on growing our business, supporting our patients, and not worrying about the technology running on it.
